Good evening to the lovely fresh air Da Lat, one of the most beautiful town in HCMC..
This is a must go place in Vietnam.. Much more beautiful than Cameron highlands.. =p
Sarah and I made it there at 5.30pm and we checked in at Peace Cafe, the cafe that has good food, fair room, wifi and at a reasonable price. highly recommended for bagpackers. =)
We went out to get dinner on the first night and this was what i took:
Da Lat is known as the city of romance, couples will go there for retreat or honeymoons~ hehex
This is the view from my hotel:
and in the morning we had banana pancakes~
We decided to go on the easy rider tour. They gave us a reasonable price for a great trip around the city. It was worth it though, just 20USD for an unforgettable trip~
First stop, the Paradise Lake:

The Zen Meditation Temple:

The Datanla Falls:
famous for the roller coaster rider to the bottom of the falls =)

Here it is - Datanla falls~

Next stop: 'Forgotten the name' Temple~ The oldest temple in Da Lat~
Built by the Lat people. So the main population here is the Lat people where Da Lat got it's name, Da stands for river and Lat stands for the main population.
And the best panorama view~

Next stop: Flower farms~ but we're at the wrong season.. flower's not blooming for another month~

Easy rider~! Sarah's on it~ hehex

Coffee plantations ahead!! Robusta coffee, Mocha Coffee and Arabica Coffee~
And the rice wine factory~

Mushroom farm:
And the elephant falls~ the hike there was hard.. Just got to be extra careful with the slippery rocks.. I almost FELL 3 times because the rocks were slippery..
But it was worth the climb!! xD

We wre right next to the waterfall~~

This is the top of the waterfall..
Next: the Silk factory.

These are the silk worms that they use to obtain silk from.
And this is the silk being spun out from the cocoons.

And this is the 1st grade silk.
This is how they process the thread to be a cloth~

And then the do embroidery to them:
And they can choose to dye them, with plant dye of course.

Next stop: the bamboo weaving house
And our last stop: the Crazy house!! ^^

Unfortunately when we were exploring halfway the rain poured down.. T.T

this is another hotel room: the termite room.

Advise: BRING YOUR SWEATER! xD
This is one of the rooms in there, it's actually a hotel and it's super expensive for 1 night.. xD
behold, the bear room:

Da Lat was beautiful.. I would've go back there again if it wasn't for the horrible ride there.. =(
